Dining together to benefit local charities in the Tulsa Community, Girouard Vines and Tulsafood.com are hosting their second Local Chef Dinner Series on Wednesday, July 15th at 5 p.m.
The three-course dinner and wine pairing will be prepared by Executive Chef Joshua McClure of The Chalkboard Restaurant. A portion of the proceeds benefit a local non-profit. Each course will be paired with a wine from Girouard Vines.
The menu will be the following:
Passed Hors d’ oeuvres paired with Atlas Life Chardonnay or Goddess of Oil Grenache Ceviche Scallop Shooter and Confit Duck Pâté.
First Course paired with Warehouse Market Sauvignon Blanc or Spotlight Merlot Ginger Salad ~ Shaved Romaine and Arcadian Green Salad with Fresh Ginger, Wonton Crumbles, Cauliflower bits, and Seared Ahi Tuna
Second Course paired with Fire Alarm Red Duck on Duck ~ Cold Smoked Duck Breast over Duck Fat Polenta and topped with a Blue Berry Compote and served with Fresh Broccolini
Third Course paired with Bliss Late Harvest Chardonnay Dreamsicle ~ Gran Mariner Mouse, Frozen Panna Cotta, Citrus Granola Soil and finished with a Coconut Gel
The cost for the dinner is $100 per person (tax and gratuity included). Doors open at 5 p.m. on July 15 for mingling or winery tour · wine tastings available for purchase.
