The award-winning Tulsa Deco wines are named after some of the most iconic Art Deco properties in Tulsa, each of the eight (8) wine labels feature and honor Tulsa’s historic Art Deco past. Today, Tulsa is considered to be number four in the number of historic Art Deco structures in the U.S.
Growing up, founder Chris Girouard learned to love the distinctive Art Deco structures throughout Tulsa thanks to his mother, Betty Ann (O’Donovan). Born and raised in Tulsa, she loved architecture and Art Deco and instilled that appreciation in her son. Girouard Vines Tulsa Deco Wines not only honor Tulsa’s rich Art Deco history, but Chris’s mother, too.
The eight (8) Tulsa Deco wines are a negociant type project where the wine is produced from grapes grown in California by others, and then shipped in bulk to the downtown Tulsa winery to be further aged, and then blended and bottled in the urban winery.
"We’re proud of the award-wining wines inside the bottle, as well as the iconic buildings that grace the labels outside." Jan Girouard, President and COO
